DR PITAMBAR PAUL (PRINCIPAL)
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru once said, “If you educate a man you educate an individual, however if you educate a woman you educate a whole family. Woman empowered means Mother India empowered.”This college promises to spread the Higher Education among the women of the locality as in Global scenario two third of the women are illiterate among the total illiterate youths.
Education is considered as a milestone for women empowerment as it enables them to respond to the challenges, to confront their traditional roles and change their lives. Education brings equal status to women, provides opportunity and freedom to develop her potentials equipping them with economic independence and self-reliance. Providing women with quality education is a fundamental way to empower women which makes them scientific, logical, open-minded and self-respecting and ensures greater autonomy in making decisions or free themselves from the shackles imposed on them by the customs, beliefs and practices in society. The sustainability and progress of all regions depends on the success of women across the globe.
The Higher Education scenario in our country has very recently under gone a sea change with the introduction of semester based CBCS system throughout the country to bring on a uniform platform.
